Ce cours de formation vise les élèves travaillant déjà dans le domaine du conditionnement physique ou du mouvement, ainsi que ceux dont le travail ou les horaires ne leur permettent pas de consacrer le temps nécessaire à notre programme compréhensif. D’une durée de 4 fins de semaine ou de 10 jours. Une formation qui vous permettra de planifier et de guider en individuel ou en groupe le niveau 1 Essentiel et intermédiaire STOTT PILATES® Reformer pour un large éventail de clients. Vous quittez cette formation avec une base solide et les qualités requises pour développer un Programme motivant et efficace avec le Reformer de STOTT PILATES®.

This course is intended for those already working in the fields of fitness or movement, as well as those who are unable to devote the time required in our Comprehensive Program due to work and/or scheduling issues. Conducted over 3 weeks or 4 weekends. Building on your industry knowledge it teaches you to design and lead the Level 1 Essential and Intermediate STOTT PILATES Reformer repertoire for personal or group training settings for a range of clients. You will leave with a solid foundation and required skills to develop effective and motivating Pilates Reformer programs. While IR may be taken prior to IMP, we recommend completing IMP first.

Observation, practice teaching & physical review:
A minimum number of hours of observation, practice teaching and physical review are required for all courses and should be completed between instructed sessions at any STOTT PILATES® facility. Additional training may be required before certification. Practice teaching and physical review hours must be logged outside of class time. The practice logs must be submitted on your exam date (either written or practical exam). If the student fails to submit all the logs within 7 days from the last portion of the exam, the entire exam will be void.
Observation:
Includes watching sessions taught by a STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor or relevant STOTT PILATES videos.
Physical review:
Means physically performing the exercises learned in class. Taking a class with a STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor or working out with video can qualify as physical review hours, and can be completed individually or with other students.
Practice teaching:
Hours can be fulfilled by instructing family, fellow students, friends or clients.
Note:
There are no hours required for Injuries & Special Populations or Advanced Level courses.

IR1 – Module 1 & IR2 – Module 2
To help accommodate your schedule, we also offer Intensive Reformer in two modules – IR1 & IR2. Key learnings are the same as the full course. Completion of both modules is required to be eligible for certification. IR1 is a pre-requisite of IR2. Both modules must be taken within 6 months of each other.
IR1 – Module 1
Provides the solid foundation and skills needed to develop effective personal training programs. Learn to design and teach the Essential portion of the Level 1 repertoire with 74 unique exercises plus multiple modifications and progressions.

IR2 – Module 2
IR2 expands on the foundation and skills developed in the first segment as you learn to design programs incorporating the Intermediate repertoire. Learn 65 unique exercises plus multiple modifications and progressions.

Learn to use the various Reformer components and accessories to intensify reformer repertoire and provide a stimulating workout for athletes, dancers, and highly conditioned clients. Held over 3 days this 18 hour Advanced course teaches exercises in the repertoire that require greater strength, stability and flexibility.
