CAROLINE BERGER - PEDAGOGICAL DIRECTOR AND PROFESSOR

 

The analysis of movement, dance, choreography, staging, Caroline Berger studies since 1999, parallel studies of Monnaie finance at the Sorbonne and Management at "Adema" Ecole des Mines de Paris.

 

She is trained by Yvonne Paire in kinesiology, anatomy and functional analysis of the dance movement during her pedagogical preparation for the State diploma of dance teacher at Studio Harmonic. During a long stay in Australia, in Sydney, she learned the STOTT PILATES® method, then trained with Nicolas Christin in Geneva and Monique Lavoie in Winnipeg. In 2008 she is the first training and training center STOTT PILATES of France in Paris at the same time as she produces her last contemporary dance show "Sultana".

 

His Studio becomes the meeting place for young dancers. Passionate, Caroline continues to deepen her knowledge and technique in GYROTONIC with Regula Gradient in Paris and Arsinoi Tsakalogianni in Athens.

 

Then, a key meeting with Lisa Howell, will allow her to embark on a new path, that of the health personnel. After translating Lisa Howell's "Secrets to a Perfect Tip". Caroline decides to return to school and enroll in the Faculty of Etiopathy of Paris.

 

Very involved in associations, she supports associations: "the animation film festival", "The School near you", "From Feminie and Dignity, the right to education for all". `

 

Today Caroline divides her time between the faculty of Etiopathy, the courses in Paris and the trainings in Paris and abroad.

MONIQUE LAVOIE -

EDUCATION SUPERVISOR

 

Monique is the founder of Pilates Winnipeg, a Merrithew™ Licenced Training Centre in Manitoba, which opened in 1997. She is one of very few bilingual Merrithew Lead Instructor Trainers and upon request to teach any certification course or examination in both English and French. A graduate of The National Ballet School, Monique has over 30 years of teaching experience. Monique is also a certified Gyrotonic instructor. In 2007 and again in 2009, she received a mentorship award as a result of recommendations from her peers, along with a lifetime achievement award from Merrithew. She recently hosted Moira Merrithew at her studio in celebration of the studio's 20th anniversary
