FORMATION STOTT PILATES® EXAM PREPARATION: GENERAL OVERVIEW

RÉVISION GÉNÉRALE

Time: 4 hours

 

This interactive workshop, developed by the Merrithew™ team, is designed to help students prepare for their STOTT PILATES certification exams. It provides valuable information to help students score well on the exam, including an overview of exam format, the most effective and useful study methods, content that should be focused on, and what to expect during the exam. The Five Basic Principles, postural analysis and tips for cueing and correcting are also reviewed.

FORMATION STOTT PILATES® EXAM PREPARATION: MATWORK

PRÉPARATION À L’EXAMEN MATWORK

Time: 2 hours

 

Get ready for the Matwork exam by reviewing specific Matwork exercises during this two-hour workshop, developed by the Merrithew™ team. Emphasis is placed on corrections and cues, and what to focus on during the exam. The use of props and modifications based on posture and programming is also addressed.

PRÉPARATION À L’EXAMEN REFORMER

Time: 3 hours

 

Get in top shape for the Reformer exam with this three-hour workshop, developed by the Merrithew™ team. This workshop covers programming for Reformer including, modifications and variations when using the Reformer for specific postural misalignments, as well as a discussion and review of several Reformer exercises.

FORMATION STOTT PILATES® EXAM PREPARATION: CADILLAC, CHAIR & BARRELS

PRÉPARATION À L’EXAMEN COMPLET

Time: 3 hours

 

This interactive, three-hour session, developed by the Merrithew™ team, prepares the exam candidate for the Cadillac, Chair & Barrels portion of their exam. The majority of time is spent on programming that incorporates all pieces of equipment. Specific exercises from the Cadillac, Chair & Barrels

repertoire is reviewed, including correct positioning, breathing and movement patterns.
